SUPER-CORE
#SC
SERIES PMA's -
Our PMA's include only the spacers, shaft nut and lock washer.
#QC1212 - Quad Core
is our highest amperage model PMA!
Highly recommended for engine,
hydro
and belt driven applications!
325 amps!
(16,000 rpm)
-
Includes cooling fan and 80MM pulley as stand equipment.
DO NOT REMOVE COOLING FAN! This model can get hot! VERY POWERFUL!!
Serpentine pulley system required loads over 4000 Watts
See Power curves -
You can go from 12 to 90 volts just by changing the pulley ratio. For an engine or hydro
driven system the QC12 it is the BEST choice since it is so
powerful
and
versatile
.
1230 RPM for 12 Volt battery charging.
2030 RPM for 24 Volt battery charging.
3854 RPM for 48 Volt battery charging.
5422 RPM for 60 Volt battery charging.
See Power curves -
HEAT WARNINGS:
IF you are pulling over 500 Watts without a cooling fan your PMA it will over heat! Fan kits are very important to have on ALL high amp applications!!!!--- Keeping your PMA's cooled, fused and under reasonable loads is the operators full responsibility. Monitor your PMA for excessive heating in all experimental machinery! Maximum PMA's operating temperature is 350 F. for 100% duty cycle. No warrantees on ANY burned out PMA's! They are sold in good working condition and you have to keep them cool and never over loaded regarding amperage draw.
A PMA RUNNING SLOW WHILE DRAWING A FULL AMP LOAD IS A DEAD PMA!
Here is guide to help you choose the right PMA and keep it cool via the correct RPM V. AMPS coefficient
These figures must then be matched to the power curves. This total calculation must
be done
correctly or you may find yourself burning up a few PMA's as part of your learning curve.
(Expensive lessons for the inexperienced!!!!!!!! All Sales Final)
